The CBG Show Update

We are currently watching the Covid-19 situation across the country. The numbers across the country seem to be steadily decreasing. If this continues, we are confident there will be a CBG Show in the upcoming months.

We have been speaking to our retailers on a regular basis and are hearing very positive news. In the states that have reopened, our CBG jewelers are seeing a surge in business. Based on retailer feedback, many cannot wait to see their fellow members once again. We are adding a day of education and roundtable to our upcoming show as we feel, now more than ever, it is important for our retailers to share experiences and ideas.


Our summer show is currently booked at Caesars in Las Vegas in September.


The Vegas Show Dates are:

Sept. 7: Exhibitor Setup (Labor Day) / Early Registration
Sept. 8: Day 1
Sept. 9: Day 2
Sept. 10: Day 3
Sept. 11: Educational Summit / Roundtable


We are in the process of interviewing several speakers outside of the Jewelry Industry for our day of education. The speakers in consideration are motivational speakers who have overcome adversity in their lifetimes. Their stories are quite inspirational and we feel this is just what our CBG family needs when emerging from this crisis.


In the event that the city of Las Vegas does not allow a show due to safety reasons we have alternate dates on hold in Orlando at the Hyatt Grand Cypress. 


The Tentative Days for Orlando are:

Oct. 5: Exhibitor Setup / Early Registration

Oct. 6: Day 1

Oct. 7: Day 2

Oct. 8: Day 3

Oct. 9: Educational Summit / Roundtable

Safety Procedures for the Upcoming Show

  • We will be requiring all guests to wear a mask at all times, in all meeting and convention space.

  • We are currently working on a contingency plan with the hotel and GES. When we get more info we will share with the group.

  • CBG Show will be a hand-shaking free event. Signage will be made and placed around the showroom, meeting/lunch room and registration desk and the vault as a reminder to all attendees.

  • Signage and information will be placed throughout the entire event reminding guests of our safe hygiene protocol.

- Cover mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing

- Dispose of tissue promptly into garbage

- Wash hands or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer

- Avoid touching face with unwashed hands

  • Designated sanitizing stations stocked with hand sanitizer and disposable wipes will be placed throughout the event.

  • We have allowed extra space so we may practice social distancing by placing booths 6ft apart from each other. 

  • In addition to the supplies we are providing, we are also requiring all exhibitors to bring their own hand sanitizer for their booth AND sanitize all jewelry and booth space between appointments.
