Holiday Cheer from... Andie
I know you haven't heard from me in a while... but I trust you have seen how your CBG and Preferred office has taken charge, remained busy and are more helpful than ever. For those of you who take advantage of all the office does and who supported our virtual show – we thank you! Your support means everything.
Not that anyone asked… but for me this year has been an emotional roller coaster. Despite this, the one thing I will not allow to be affected, is the holidays. Anyone who really knows Joe and I, knows that for us, the holidays are epic. Think about it, all the lights, the decorations and who can forget the gorgeous tree?!
This year more than ever, we were continuously reminded of the “Power of Love.” By coming together as a family and a community, we can overcome anything, regardless of all the challenges we face. Now more than ever, I feel we need this season of kindness. We need to lift each other’s spirits, have hope and try to celebrate the magic of the holiday.
As you are now aware, our January show will be virtual. Please participate. We received some excellent reviews from the retailers and suppliers who participated in the last show. With the news of a vaccine closer than we were expecting, Joe and I are feeling confident about seeing you all in Vegas. Of course, it is our responsibility to keep you safe, so we are taking it one step at a time. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that our CBG family will be able to congregate, learn and party ASAP!
Joe is also working very hard on a smaller show for CBG in October, as we have had many retailers inquiring about one this time of year. I feel like with this “new normal,” it is a fabulous idea to see each other right before the holiday season. It’s also an easy fill in show right before peak season. We are doing our best to stay in South Florida. At this moment, we have a meeting at the brand new JW Marriott in Tampa, Florida. It will be awesome if we can pull it off. Stay tuned!
There are so many reasons to be grateful. Some of us may be planning to make a trip this holiday season. Maybe you are finally seeing loved ones you’ve been kept away from, or maybe you are simply grateful for making it to the end of the year or just hopeful about what lies ahead – either way it is important to remain in good spirits. Rituals and traditions of the season seem more important than ever before. Stay safe and I hope to see you all soon.
